It was great to have one of our favourite DJs - adventurous London underground club, festival and NTS regular DEBONAIR here at SSR last week. She was recording her excellent Resident Advisor mix in our DJ rehearsal room . “Thanks so much! Honestly was a million times easier mixing in your studio than at home” she said of the experience. We are very excited to announce that our students now have a show on Threads Radio, a community station based out of The Cause nightclub in Tottenham. Tune in for interviews, mixes and exclusive broadcasts of Music from SSR’s students, alumni and current clients. Some students have alos trained to be producers at the station and are working on other shows across their programming. The shows are every 4 weeks, and their 3rd one is happening tomorrow 9th May. Since graduating from our Industry Diploma studio courses, Andrew James has gone on to work as an Audio Engineer in notable studios such as Grand Cru and Wendy House, with clients including Westlife, Stormzy, Louis Tomlinson, Olly Murs and Lil Simz. He popped back the other day to do some rehearsing with his band Shola who have reached the grand final of the Isle of Wight Festival New Blood Competition.
